If you read french, about Tariq RAMADAN, I suggest you the book of Caroline FOUREST, name "Frère Tariq... strategie et méthode de Tariq RAMADAN (in english "Brother Tariq... the strategy and method of Tariq Ramadan". Briefly, it seems that Tariq R. used a very classic islamic dialectic : soft smiling speeches for outside and hard strong speeches for inside the Brotherhood...

Caroline FOUREST also wrote recently another very interesting book named "The Obscure Temptation" (also in french = La tentation obscurantiste) explaining how a certain intellectuals of Left and Extreme-Left seems fascinated by Islamism... up to accepting from them sexist and agressivity that they would have never tolerated from Christians...

Interesting, is the fact that the author is also... a left activist, journalist by the french alternative magazine CHARLIE HEBDO... that has published a very corrosive cover page with a Mahomet cartoon.
