its does not matter if becoming christian or not. people are punished for breaking the law and many do become closer the God when in tight situations whether its christianity, judaism or islam. the hope is that they come out with a lesson learned. to follow in the eyes of the lord and live life according to the laws that put forth for us to follow. and another thing i like to add is no matter which religion you are. it have the same focus...too get closer to god and live in peace with each other. but just because youre a jew, chirstian or muslim...that does not make you a good person. many will say they believe only to deceive the righteous but they really dont believe.
