When I read comments such as the one that I am posting a response to, comfort is taken because this century will see a rivival of the Christian faith thanks to the growth of Christian communities in the global south. These countries are now sending missioniares to those western nations that have sent missioniares a century ago. This will create the foundation for a rebirth of the Christian faith in the west.

Also even in the USA; there is concern that Hollywood is out of touch with the general population and its values. When people come to faith in the Lord, it is often because they want to have an empty hole in their hearts filled. The reason people do not always obey the Ten Commandments is because of the fallen sinful human nature that we all have. This is also why there is the Christian season of Lent, so that Christians can repent of their sins and turn their lives around and turn back to the Lord. The Bible itself, which is not corrupt as some people think, does call people to turn back to the Lord. It is all explained in the Bible.
