Endangerment of Peace Now a Reality

Reader comment on item: "Godless Saracens Threatening Destruction":
in response to reader comment: Perpetuating Religiously Based Hostilities To Thwart Peace

Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Aug 25, 2021 at 11:50

Now that the creditability of western precepts have been shattered by supposed 'democratic' political machines within the American 46th Administration and complicit actors in the region, whether the Taliban are going to impose 'religious' imperatives that are fully reminiscent of full blown 7th Century subjugation is now a fait accompli. The 'West' is now faced with a crisis that may match the circumstances that might suggest a 'Lusitania' (Lebanon) moment; this time in the Mediterranean. This is a result of a measured increase of tactical engagements, eventually leading to a conclusion that too many are not all that ready to accommodate. Is this the reality that anyone anticipated? Does Afghanistan provide any clues? Anyone?
