Reader comment on item: No to Bombing Syria

Submitted by Peter Niedermann (United Kingdom), Apr 7, 2017 at 07:05

Hitherto, this seems to be the first and only reasonable statement on this short-sighted muscle-play policy in the western hemisphere.
Remain on the sidelines if there are two groups, both thundering Allahu akbar, both invoking the so-called only true God and killing each other. Wait and keep the struggle in balance until the brain-washed holy warriors get tired or switch on their brain.

A consistent containment strategy and a systematic separation of church and state provide the only reasonable policy.
