Reader comment on item: No to Bombing Syria

This sounds like Obama's policy, which in the end gave Russia a free hand. As long as the bombing is a warning not to use chemical weapons, it should be OK.
There is also an old saying - the Spartans used - don't fight the same enemy repeatedly because all you are doing is training him to fight. And that saying should be kept in mind.

With Turkey and Russia-Iran lurking for a grab land the best solution is to install the Kurds there. That should keep all factions in line for a long long time. Especially if the support is total (weapons/money/infrastructure etc.) That should also please our allies in Israel. That's my opinion.
