facts are factsReader comment on item: ISIS Justifies Its Yazidi Slaves Submitted by Mohammed Waza Khiddif Id'ullah (Australia), Nov 21, 2014 at 23:09 Hi Dhimmi As you saw - Michael S presented factual errors on the numbers of people killed by Allies in German towns. A policy of 'never let facts get in the way of a good story' is self defeating - people are turned of by BS. It's obvious that he (and all of us really) can only present 2nd or 3rd hand accounts of atrocities that occurred before our births. We simpy weren't there - so how can we really know what went down, how do we captre the feeling and pulse of those times ? More often than not those accounts are written by the 'victors'. In the case of the Armenian massacre - the world never heard about it because the Turks swept it under the carpet of Asia Minor history - needing to present a 'clean' face to the world as they went about their business of doing deals and playing off countries against each other over the course of the 20th century. Armenia , not being a part of Europe , was simply not on the radar - and very few reports came through and these were mostly from German sources - who were allied with the Turks. It's quite clear now - over 100 years later , that the Turks sought to exterminate Armenians and others from the Ottoman empire. The Armenian massacre certainly did occur . I'm curious to see how stating that historical fact can be construed as being anti-semitic. Jewish people have never given me a reason to be anti-semitic. Just the opposite. The way they have transformed their country into the only viable democracy in the middle east and the forbearance they have shown while being surrounded by a sea of vicious, hate-filled minds that want nothing but their destruction - just evokes admiration.
