Not True,

Abu Hanifa (of the Sunni Hanafi Sect) was born 67 years after the death of Muhammad.

He met Anas bin Malik the close companion of the Prophet and stayed with him for some time, also he met many companions of the Prophet when he moved to Mecca in , these are counted 16 companions

Anas bin Malik died in AH93 and Ibn Tufail died in AH100 and many others such as Jabil ibn Abdullah and Sahl ibn Sa'd

Malik bin Anas (of the Maliki Sunni sect) was born in AH93 and was in the same time as Abu Hanifa, Malik took many of Abu Hanifa collection and built on it.

in fact these is a chart that show an unbroke chain of links between the death of Muhammad and the great Hadith collectors of Bukhari and Muslim
