Reader comment on item: Who was the Prophet Muhammad?
in response to reader comment: muslims dont drink?

i am not surprised to see a comment of that sort on my article. May be some muslims drink and some dont. such a state of mannerism among the people exist in any religion or society. But for that its not the society or religion to be critisized. Its merely a personal thing. I just said that islam doesnt permit alchohol consumption. Thus a true follower of islam must be a nondrinker of alchohol. it as simple as telling that a man is pure vegetarian for the very reason that he doesnt eat meat. But it doesnt mean that person claiming that he is a vegetarian and eats meat could morally remain as true vegetarian.

you may follow what you are comfortable with, we would love to follow a life where one doesnt spent time drinking alchoholic drings, forgetting the responsibilities and even ending up doing the worst things one could have done in life. U said u have great control when u r drunk especially when u r in front of women.I appreciate that and i am sure u r extraordinary.but same extraordinarism can never be expected from all human being. Its just a known fact and i hope you dont make any fault finding and frivolous comment on this article at least.
i hope the coments made are done so taking into consideration the general public rather than based on self capacity or self capabality of tolerance and extraordinarism.

i request you to try a life without alchohol for a small period and see how much time you get free and how much you get chance to be with your family. isnt that the best thing you can do for yourself, your family and for your society.
Wising for your better understanding.
