Erdogan is predictable

Reader comment on item: On Second Thought … Maybe that Israeli Apology to Turkey was a Good Idea

Submitted by Stergios Bakas (Sweden), Mar 29, 2013 at 16:30

The Turkish behaviour is predictable and the same applies to both Erdogan and Davutoglou. After the Israeli apology, Davutoglou came with a new threat, this time against the Greek-Cypriots. His Ultimatum: you give us a share in the gas- and oilfields or we divide Cyprus in two separate countries. The Greek-Cypriots advised him to take it cool and not being too excited.

I am wondering, however, what Erdogan is going to tell the Palestinians, when arriving at Gaza. Be prepared, because I think he is coming with impressive promises and pompous commitments to the Palestinians, having in mind to ask for more from the US. Erdogan's goal is to take a share of gas and oil from Cyprus, Greece and Israel, as a legitimate heir of Ottoman Empire with the blessings of the western world.
