"Reviving the Islamic Spirit" in Toronto?

Reader comment on item: [Freedom House report on] Saudi Venom in U.S. Mosques

Submitted by Janet Erickson (United States), Feb 17, 2005 at 18:34

OK...Here's the story. I live on the border between US and Canada. Recently in the Buffalo News, under the "My View" section appeared the following story by Sawsan Maddah, Feb 16, 2005, "Ethnic profiling destroys the fabric of our free society," http://www.buffalonews.com/editorial/20050216/1044112.asp

An American citizen of Middle East heritage was "ethnically profiled" upon having attended a Toronto conference, "Reviving the Islamic Spirit."

Reading this op-ed after having read Mr. Pipes' article regarding venom in Saudi-funded mosques made me wonder: Where does this conference fall in Mr. Pipes' opinion??
