The Saudi money has being a source of evil since long time.

Reader comment on item: [Freedom House report on] Saudi Venom in U.S. Mosques

Submitted by Dr Ahmed Youssif. MD (China), Feb 1, 2005 at 12:05

Dear Professor Daniel Pipes,

I still remember when I was on my tenths (on the 70's), my community, basically constituted of Lebanese and Syrians immigrants in Brazil, used to practice Islam in a traditional way, it means, we used to be very kind and respectful towards Jews and Christians, as the Islam's orthodoxy demands.. This was the way my father and mother always taught me.

However, things changed absurdly and completely since the beginning of the 80's. The Saudi money then, started to bring to our community, along with their brain-washed "imams", intolerance, hatred and evil.

Now, the Muslim community which I remember from my childhood does not exist anymore.

Now that same community is mirroring their guides: full of intolerance, hatred and evil, even though between themselves.

Salaam,

Ahmed
