Self-Determinism in Libya

Reader comment on item: What's the Goal in Libya?

Submitted by BB King (United States), Jun 19, 2011 at 20:07

Dr. Pipes,

By international law, don't people have the right to self-determinism? We cannot decide Libya's destiny for the Libyans. We must leave it to them to decide their own political-destiny. Hence, we cannot partition Libya if the Libyan people do not want that partition.
