Israels elected Op Ed Writer (responding to Peres and the 67 lines)

Reader comment on item: Obama vs Netanyahu, Round Three

Submitted by Jay1 (United States), Jun 12, 2011 at 02:05

Forgive me, but Israel has turned into a country that cant allow a Prime Minister to make policy, and speak as the highest elected official. Indeed every politician in Israel offers Prime Minister like negotiations, maps and statements on their own. For that matter, so now do American Presidents as it applies to israel. Jerusalem has become a democracy that has free elections to elect no one. I wont comment on winners or losers on any specific speeches here or there. But based on Dr Pipes' suggestive article, a reader might conclude that Barak Obama is currently the Prime Minister of Israel, Shimon Peres is his Secretary of State, and Benjamin Netanyahu carrys the seal of a stern op ed writer for the Jewish state.
