To sort of paraphrase one great American hero, "Damn the liberals and intellectuals. Full speed ahead."

Menachem Begin didn't give too much stock to those sorts when he formed the Irgun and neither did Rabbi Kahane when he formed the JDL. Both men spoke their minds in clear and unambiguous terms, a practice that liberals are unacustomed to. Besides both liberals and intellectuals always expect a free ride and they always want somebody else to pay the tab.
