Reader comment on item: Farrakhan Demands Reparations from Jews

Submitted by anonymous (United States), Jul 21, 2010 at 21:01

In his Second Inaugural Address, Lincoln spoke of every drop of blood drawn by the lash being repaid with a drop of blood drawn by the Sword. I had a great-great uncle (a Jew, by the way, and one of the first of our clan on this side of the pond) who got so enthusiastic about Mr. Lincoln's crusade and the upcoming end of the peculiar institution that he flocked to the colors in 1861. He was lucky to go back to Milwaukee from Shiloh Church, TN, missing only a leg. Farrakhan and his hearers would do well to remember 300,000 (plus) Yankees dead in Southern dust, not a few of whom were Jewish.

While I'm at it, since Mr. Farrakhan has made a career of screaming over the evils of these United States, he is cordially invited to remove himself back to the West Indies where, I understand, he was born.

And, could it be that Mr. Farrakhan is here in the New World because some victorious West African chief of the 17th or 18th century needed calico and rum more than his gods and dead ancestors needed human blood? We white people (Jewish or not) want reparations from Farrakhan for saving his ancestors from heathen darkness and barbarism; for teaching him to read English; for the sacrifices our ancestors made to bring about emancipation...
