Reader comment on item: Farrakhan Demands Reparations from Jews

Submitted by Vinod Sethi (India), Jul 15, 2010 at 01:14

Muslims or Muslims organisations should have no right to blame jews for slave trade from Africa. The slave trade continued for 300 years from the African continent to the cities of Middle-East where Arab sheikhs also participated in their trade. 5000 slaves per month were shipped to the various places and it went on for 300 years. However, I would like to comment that the lives of non-muslims living in any Muslim country are worse than the fate of slaves. They do not allow people of other faiths to practice their faith nor allow the construction of Churches and temples in Muslim countries. So much so, the Govt. of Saudi Arabia does not accept a Non-Muslim as Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia. Can there be a worse example of religious discrimination.
