Do Palestinians need to continue this life of misery?

Reader comment on item: Israel is Winning [1]

The sooner the Palestinians realise they cannot push the Israelis to the sea, then can they think out of the box the rest of their Arab brethren have given them.

First, why don't any of the large Arab countries be willing to absorb the couple of million of Palestinians into their society when they share the same religion, language and culture and most important of all these countries have plenty of land?

Secondly, there is no human fights or real freedom in any Arab countries to speak of. What is the difference between internal suppression and external suppression? Yes the Palestinians are oppressed by Israel, but under their occupation, they actually prospered enough to have such high rate of population growth and prosperity. Can they do it on their own. Look at Jordan and Syria - economic stagnation and hardy any progress.
