Moral Loss

Reader comment on item: Israel is Winning

Submitted by Ivan M. Lang (United States), Aug 6, 2002 at 17:18

The Palestinians may be losing food and suppiles, mental health, and new murderers; but their biggest loss is the bancrupcy of their morality. Just two years ago, even a large segment of the Israeli public felt that the Palestinians had the moral edge. The immorality of the over 600 murders, of the support for the murderers by the general Palestinian public (about 70%), and of the glee in the hearts of the average Palestinian to the deaths of innocent Israeli children have obliterated any possible sympathy for their situation and plight.

The Palestinians have lost the basis of their support which is more important in the long run than good physical and mental health.
