It's hard to be optimistic

I am less optomistic. After a thorough analysis, I think you have made only three positive points: first, Israel has a new sense of resolve and unity, second, some Palestinians are beginning to condemn suicide bombings, and third, Hamas is almost out of willing kamikaze pedestrians.

All the other reasons for Israel winning are merely facts that show Palestinians are losing. Because Israel is healthier, Israel will bear most of the burden of repairing the damage the Palestinians are doing to themselves and everyone around them. Like living with an alcoholic roommate, the situation is just miserable.
