Disbelief is not always a result of arrogance or pride.
Human beings have serious doubts and questions. Even apart from the understanding that the failings of a church or organisation or group should not be burdened upon the faith itself. The question is : why does god choose to do something in a particular way and not differently. What if the human being, sufferings multiple persecutions and humiliations on the earth in a life not of his own choosing or creation, doubts the efficacy of a particular method or path of interaction between god and human being or between human beings themselves. The question of efficiency and efficacy proves to be a the achilles heel of every faith. As regards islam it is a thoroughly fascist-totalitarian-imperialist faith misusing the name of god. Evilness and fascism become most efficient and long-lasting (as illustrated by islam) when done in the name of god - so it seems. Why does god tolerate that? How does a christian explain that?
