The Futility of Warring ReligiosityReader comment on item: The Middle Eastern Cold War Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jun 22, 2009 at 19:50 Humanist names for humanistic observations about mankind's religious activities; easy labeling to gain a handle on the characteristically anti social behavior of persons who cannot function in a peaceful society because of rebellion to the Truth, the Word of the LORD in the Hebrew Holy Bible. Once again, hypocritical religiosity guised with a Christianesque label is associated with the iniquities of an inhumane mindset that war will achieve any goal of dominion. Since America has been called a Christian nation and it conducts wars for the defense of American values, the faulty reasoning must therefore be that all Christians are a warmongering people. First, America has lost her ability to be called a truly Christian nation since the removal of the Holy Bible from her government proceedings, and her education system has fallen aside for the same reason. Christianity exists in her population, but the name can only be applied nominally, since Jesus Christ is not King of America. Religion by realization does not foster peace either, for in the practice of it, there is a side-stepping of the Truth, replacing it with humanistic ideas of achieving peace without accessing its true source. If there was a definitive connection to such a thing by realization, then the Dalai Lama would have answered differently to the question of whether he was going to heaven or not, and he could not definitively answer. The principle reason for war is mankind's general rebellion to Almighty God, and the expression of the rebellion in the world antipathy to Israel and the things that are truly Almighty God's, such as Jesus Christ His begotten Son. Everything that mankind stands for, as pointed out in the previous post is definitely assigned to mankind. The escape is Jesus Christ, and the faith in Him necessary to achieve His peace in this world, independent of it. The Jewish people initially rejected Jesus Christ theri Messiah long before Islam came around, and it is that issue that must be dealt with, leaving the rest to Almighty God when He arrives in judgment for unbelief. That is what the world cannot get past, and wars against Him in the futile attempt at trying to do so.
