in response to reader comment: Never will Muslims forgive Jews for rejecting Muhammad

Jews were the lowest class in the Muslim world. Muslim despised them, kids would throw stones at them, adults would spit on them if they felt like.
Then suddenly beginning with 19th Century, Jews transformed themselves. Got Western education, became skilled professional, became wealthy, and finally defeated Muslims militarily in Israel.
This is too much of a humiliation for the Muslims.
They are the dregs of the world. They are the most backward people of all nations. Even their despised Hindus have left them behind. The East Asians, are light years ahead of them and the distance is increasing. If it was not for Oil, Muslims would be completely insignificant and nobody would give a dam about them.
They are humiliated, and there is no escape from this. They are bound to be further and further behind everybody (perhaps with the only exception of some sub-Saharan Africa, half of them are Muslim anyway). Islam is incompatible with modernity, and instead of becoming modernized, they are longing for the more and more radical forms of Islam.
So they will never forgive the Jews for leaving them in the dust.
