It might also be possible that by committing to the road map, Mr. Sharon would or rather should gain international support. This would put the ball clearly back into the court of the Palestinians. Considering the current track record of the Palestinians, I predict that in a very short amount of time they will do something of a gross nature and thus incite a "justified" Israeli response. This Israeli response should be internationally supported. I know that it sounds a bit optimistic, thinking that international support of Israel would be achieved by a "reasonable" and "un-biased" international community.
