Religion Does Violence to Truth-Seek Truth, Not Religion

in response to reader comment: religious text and violence

Once again, something is assigned to the Hebrew Holy Scriptures that does not corroborate its truth, but seeks a compromise by trying to compare it to the Muslim Quran, which does not seek compromise with the Holy Bible, but it was written as its supposed replacement. As such, it is hardly correct to associate the rebellious violence of sinful mankind as a Godly thing, even in a religious context.

The violence found in the Bible is the violence of the sinful people portrayed, and the righteous judgment of a Holy Almighty God pronounced and executed on those unwilling to seek His truth. Many will debate 'whose truth,' but in the final analysis, He who controls true eternity after death controls all truth.

Lastly, it is a truth that terrorism is not an eternal constant, but a condition of mankind emitting from the bowels of hatred directed toward all that may be perceived as good in this current time. When the Prince of Peace returns to remove the prince of the power of the air, terrorism as the wretched manifestation of sinful mankind in rebellion to all things good will be a thing of history.

It (terrorism) is therefore a temporary condition, to be replaced by the eternal grace and mercy of Almighty God through Jesus Christ the LORD when He arrives to rule over His people in love.
