I beg to differ with you. The Old Testament of my Bible contains a lot of history including historical records of wars won and wars lost. However, I don't know of any chapters or verses where God through his prophets exhorts the Jews to go out and kill all the non-believers.

Furthermore, my copy of the Koran is strident and shot through with hatred and intolerance. How else could Islamic law sentence anyone to 40 lashes for naming a teddy bear Mohammed.
