Reader comment on item: Combating the Ideology of Radical Islam

Submitted by Don (United States), Apr 18, 2003 at 17:03

We non-Muslims need to point out the errors in philosophy embraced by the Muslims.
Academic psudeo-intellectuals who have embraced Islam as a viable antithesis
to the western, platonic state are serving the same cause as the academic Marxists
of the 60's and 70's. Just as the Communist agenda was vilified and the advocates
purged from government and society,so the errant islamic philosophy which is thinly
veiled as religion, should be subject to similar sanctions.
This opinion not based on hatred or even dislike of individuals, but, like communism
the philosophical pillars are not substantial.
