Reader comment on item: Combating the Ideology of Radical Islam

In one paragraph of the article you state: There is no such thing as a moderate Islamist.

In the penultimate paragraph you state: The solution is to support moderate Islamists even if they do not explicitly renounce violence as a political tool.

That leaves me wondering what you really meant. Could you clarify, please.
