Submitted by Blackspeare (United States), Jun 29, 2006 at 21:42 The three conflicts mentioned are all the same----demographic areas of a country that want to be a separate and sovereign state. Chechens want a Chechnya nation, the Kashmirians want a free Kashmir, and the Jews want a recognized Israel at peace. Seems the problem is not with these people (though they can be violent), but with their former masters. The Russians will cede no more land! The Indians, fearful of a Kashmir aligned with Pakistan will not budge and the Middle East Arabs pay homage to a time past. As the wicked witch of the west said, "Oh what a world."
