Where to Go From Gaza?

Reader comment on item: "[Symposium] On the Strip: Where To Go from Gaza?"

Submitted by Dan Rusen (Canada), Jun 29, 2006 at 20:14

Very timely question , Dr. Pipes. But something else occurs to me now that the IDF has knocked out Gaza's power supply and marched off 30 or so of the Hamas government to indeterminate detainment. Even the Palestinians themselves have had enough, and many of them are at least verbally throwing in the towel. This clearly shows that a massive and embarrassing blow to all these Islamofascist movements IS in fact what is needed to secure a win in this war on terrorism.
