What is WinningReader comment on item: Interview: ‘I watch with frustration as the Israelis don't get the point' Submitted by Yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Jun 11, 2006 at 08:35 I wonder how you define "winning" because this word may mean different things to different people. For instance, if one defines the second world war as the struggle of the third reich to rid Europe of Jews, then Hitler has won, to a great degree. If the victory of Israel you advocate includes the present Arab population west of the Jordan River staying where it is, is that Israel's victory, or arab victory? An honest answer would reveal why the Jews are loath to win, and would rather fight a protracted war.
