Getting The Point

Reader comment on item: Interview: ‘I watch with frustration as the Israelis don't get the point'

Submitted by Phillip (United States), Jun 11, 2006 at 08:07

Dr. Pipes,

A truly accurate and fundamental portrayal of the Middle East dilemma for which we all thank you.

The frustrating point for many is that such informed commentary seldom, if ever, gets to the reading library of President Bush and the U. S. State Department of Confusion.

Perhaps the most frustrating point of all is the failure, or choice to ignore, that the course Western Civilization is at stake. The political option appears to be that ignorance is bliss.
