Reader comment on item: CAIR Backs Down from Anti-CAIR
Submitted by SENTINEL (Saudi Arabia), Apr 21, 2006 at 12:451.....Currently, CAIR is advertising for the following positions:
Civil Rights Director and Staff Attorney
CAIR Job Opportunity: Chapter Director
Director of Development
[Comment: Gee, they're either expanding left and right or falling to pieces]
2......You can also apply for an INTERN position.
"Your application should include a good mixture of professional and personal
references, particularly from imams, mosque presidents, or community leaders."
[Comment: Well, that leaves me out]
3......"CAIR-San Diego, along with Islamic Center of San Diego, recently hosted a meeting of local Muslim leaders with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Gordon Gray to discuss U.S. policy toward Iran. CAIR-San Diego also presented a Quran, Islam's revealed text, as a gift to Gray."
[Comment: Gee, I hope it was an English Koran. It's doubtful Mr. Gray can actually read an Arabic Koran.
4......"(WASHINGTON, D.C., 4/13/2006) - CAIR National Board Member Dr. Ahmad Al-Akhras offered a lecture this week to more than 1000 cadets, staff and faculty at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. (SEE: http://www.usma.edu/ ) The event was part of the academy's "Diversity Lecture Series." "
[Comment: O brother. USMA should really have asked me to give the lecture. Not only would their ears have been pricked, but their backbone hairs would have been stood on end.]
