I am a moderate Muslim and watched the PBS special last week Islam vs. the Islamists. It was a shocking wake up call for all Muslims who are sick and tired of the radicalization of Islam by imans and other who purport to represent the Muslim community as a whole. But what shocked me the most was the discusson panel that followed. The panel was moderated by WEDU and included four persons who purported to represent the Muslim community.

The moderator showed a clip form the documentary showing the stoning of a woman for adultery. It did not identify the country or set a date but the video was shocking to say the least. The real horror came next when the moderator asked the panelists what their reaction was to the clip. To my shock, the representative from CAIR stated "I can't really comment on this as I don't know the context."

Each panelist said the same thing. I could not believe my eyes! These people had NO EMOTIONAL REACTION WHATSOEVER and it appeared they viewed this incident as a normal day in the life under Sharia Law. An analogy would be showing a movie clip of Jews being led into the gas chambers by the Nazis and the panelist would say "I can't comment on it as I do not know the context"

This is another example of CAIR's indifference to the Muslim Community and the insensitivity and callous disregard radialization has brought to our community. Get this WEDU clip and put it on your website as it is an indictment of CAIR and its membership of just how low they all are.
