It is not just English speaking countries, mate. European nations are just as bad. Read the Article about "Mauritania- Europe's New Border". That is about Spain. The fact of the matter is that immigration is a taboo subject, and there is a lot of name-calling for those who break the taboo. Left and right are united in favour of immigration: the former sees votes and the latter cheap labour.
