Dear Mr. Pipes: Quoting Dr. Phares in "Future Jihad", The reasoning is rational: cites Dr. Phares, "Once you control the mind, the body will follow. For years before the terror strikes in 1993 and again in 2001 on the U.S. mainland, the Wahabi undertook a slow methodical and almost irreversible invasion of America's cultural system, the country's 'brain' if you will. But the Wahabi ideological penetration wasn't monodimensional. It was not a brainwashing of one individual after the other, or a conversion, followed by a recruitment process as has been the case for other ideologies. This penetration was bigger, deeper, wider and more complex."
The insidious part of this cultural takeover is that our government representatives, in a show of political correctness, have all but sold out the American People. I am in awe of the stupidity of our elected officials. Mayor Manino doesn't have a clue as to what extent the Jihad has infiltrated our system. As for John Kerry, the American people have seen him barefaced before them and have rejected his idiocy.
Kudos then to the Boston Herald for its exposing of the ISB scandal, I sincerely hope that the people of Boston and surrounds are sufficiently focused not to lose this story in judicial legalese. It is in the best interest of America to hold the Islamists accountablel for their actions.
I shall continue to read your writings and those of Dr. Phares and Ms. Manji in hopes that if I become better informed I shall in some small way inform others.
Thanks for your diligence A.J. Lafauce Falmouth, MA
