Mural still heavily Islamic

As Molly points out in her comment, there is now a small profile of a church painted on one of the columns. It is not true that it includes a cross or any symbols of Christianity. The Islamic theme does include the crescent moon and other symbols of Islam.

Also the Islamic theme is not just on the one column. Several different spots feature Islamic theme, particularly the Islamic arches. Indeed, the painting of the profile of the church (minus cross) is painted in such a way that the church is seen through the window of a minaret! The mural also includes the Obama slogan, "We must be the change we want to see."

Unless they MBTA also wants to paint slogans from Libertarian Bob Barr and Republican John McCain, I find that as an unacceptable use of public property in an election year.
