ChristianityReader comment on item: The Islamic Society of Boston & the Politicians' Red Faces Submitted by Renate (United States), Aug 10, 2008 at 23:44 Dear Sam: Learn a little history yourself: What is so great about america? It was founded by mostly people that believed and lived the Bible. The old mantra about Christianity killing more people than Islam is not true. There is killing in the name of Islam going on right now. Try the Sudan for starters. Anywhere in the world where there are practicing Christians and Muslims run the country, like in Indonesia, Iraq, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc. Christians are hunted down and killed, maimed, or frightened into renouncing their religion or chased out of the country. Saudi Arabia (which we finance through oil purchases), allows no jews, or christians to live there. I think you should get your facts from reliable history and not rely on the movie the "Tenth Kingdom". Yes, the Crusades killed people, no one is denying this, but MORE THAN ISLAM? get REAL. The Crusaders were actually defending themselved against Islam-the Moors. They then went on the offense. I also submit that true Christianity does not kill with the sword in order to convert people, nor does it chop off hands for stealing, nor does it demand the murdering of ones own daughter when she's been raped by some evil relative.
