yesterday they had an unveiling for this mural at Roxbury Crossing. The entire thing was painted by teenagers who did a number of sketches at the site while asking passers by, "what would you like to see here?" The teens are local kids trying to beautify their neighborhoods and create positive scenes of integration. Do you really want to criticize them? Why not give them your support?
They represented as many of the cultures in the neighborhood-including african american, chinese, islamic, christian, indian- as they could find out about and even painted the church at the top of the hill which is not visible from the station. There is even one painting that depicts what is reflected in the glass above the station entrance. To me it seems it is more about what you can see from there than anything else.
Pointing out the painting of the mosque in such a negative way only points to your prejudices and fears.
The quote that someone said to be Obama's slogan is actually a quote by Ghandi.
