Any issue can be discussed at this board, as long as it is in the line of the policies of this site. I have not seen any rule at this website that says that you can discuss this issue, that issue you can't. There is an option below the message box for you to decide whether you want to mark your comment as a response to the main article, or as a response to a reader's comment. Our comments are screened for relevance, substance and tone and edited before posting. So if the subject of God or Trinity of Christianity was irrelevant to this board, they would not have been published.
