Reader comment on item: The Liberty Incident: The 1967 Israeli Attack on the U.S. Spy Ship

What you do not know, is that on June 8, 1967 Israeli aircraft and gun boats killed 34 us seamen and wounded 171 onboard the USS Liberty sailing in international waters off the Sinai Peninsula in an attempt to lure the US into fighting beside Israel by blaming the incident on the Egyptians. Read your history folks - especialy you gullible americans! ...!
