The "Quartet" is also culpable

Reader comment on item: The Gods and the Arab-Israeli Conflict

Submitted by Yossi Ben-Aharon (Israel), Dec 15, 2005 at 11:29

Sharon is totally unreligious. But he is acting as if he was chosen by a divine power to solve the conflict. If he will be elected, his attempt will cost a lot of blood - Israeli and Palestinian - and will end in failure, again.

But the US, Europe and Russia (the Quartet) are pouring oil on the fire by pressing hard for a solution. Sharon believes he can solve the conflict and earn the support and reward from the Quartet at the same time. Look ahead for deep trouble in the Middle East.
