Israel, UN favorite

Reader comment on item: Israel, U.N. Favorite

Submitted by Miriam Edelstein (United States), Dec 5, 2005 at 20:53

Israel gave up Gaza, for pragmatic reasons, not to gain glory in the UN. To waste so many IDF lives to protect a few thousand Jews in a sea of Arabs is not practical.

However, now there shouldn't be an inch more ceded! And each terrorist bombing should be met with severe reprisals. The Europeans be damned. They were never our friends, anyway. France got what it deserved and other European countries will follow. If they don't wake up, they'll be taken over.
