Victory and defeat

You ask, disarmingly, when Israel will ever again understand the differences between victory and defeat through pacification; of course not.

You said a while back that the golden years of American Judaism were past, or passing rapidly. The same is true for Israel, except that the past has been and gone. More and more one sees openly the lack of Israel's place on world's maps; how the victors lick their chops *there's even a 'halal' pun in here, except there is nothing amusing about having one's religion not only stolen, but then stoned to end.

As an aside, I watched a chorus of half pali half Israeli children singing with that piece of dreck (s'cuse lang) Clinton...they sang "Imagine", the beloved by some John Lennon fairy tale set to music. Little doubt the Israelis had much to do with setting the moment. Sweet. No, not at all. Soured by the realities.
