What happened in Amman was not a big surprise for me, actually I expected that since the country was too much opened to the Americans, Israelis, Iraqis from all kinds and of course to the Iranian Intelligence through the Iraqi Shiites who live in Jordan, the question was when I was talking to some security officers friends that why it is delayed until now!! Anyway, it happened, and the big sign was the "Katyusha" missiles in Aqaba some weeks ago.
Again the Palestinian issue: the bomb at the Radisson SAS which I know very well was at the wedding party according to the official story, it was a wedding for 2 Jordanian families originally Palestinians (actually they do not like to mention that they are Jordanians!!! A big part of the Palestinians' sorrow about the bombs was because of those who were killed at the Wedding Party not because the country was bombed in its heart, I do not know if that wedding party was for a Jordanian family, what their reaction would be?
One of the comments of the locals on TV was strange, that man said: those terrorists killed civilians! Why did not they kill Americans or Jews! At the end, many people are not against it as a principle, but the target was wrong, I heard it from some people: oh, that was bad, they did not kill those who should be killed… The Israelis are considered as invaders, again, as a principle, all the Israelis are considered as legal targets for most of the people, but their unfortunate luck is that it is not easy to catch Israelis everywhere, when something happens in Israel with a big bomb with many casualities, people in general become relaxed, they sometimes congratulate each other, I am talking generally about Arabs, now the Palestinians are more involved, they say that we are different, we are the victims and we have the right to kill those invaders, they do not know really what the meaning of seeing 20 or 30 civilians killed in a small place like what happened at that wedding party, this will not change the Palestinian view about the Israelis as they see them from a religious point of view or a cultural point of view as the enemies of Allah, the deep hatred needs generations to reduce it…
People like Sami Al-Arian (by the way, his family is originally Egyptian, like many other Palestinian families), is an example of those who give the reason to kill the others while their people are always victims.
