Actually, Marie, I would consider calling somebody "bitter" to be somewhat inflammatory. It's about intent. It serves no purpose to the topic at hand, and we do get our fair share of wind-up merchants on here. How exactly is calling someone bitter, constructive to the blog? If anything, it's an attempt to downgrade our opinions, because we are just "bitter" and don't know what we're talking about. It is almost something one of these conmen would say.

Yes, there are a lot of hurt individuals on here and rightfully so. To give your heart and soul away (not to mention material possessions, if any) to somebody only for them to rip them out is a life changing experience. Thankfully, with a lot of help, faith and support, most of us have managed to start afresh and lead happy, productive lives, but we also like to share the lessons that we've learnt with others. And then you even get women - like myself - that took the initiative and left these relationships themselves. So why would we be bitter about something that we've actively chosen to do? It makes no sense.

The whole purpose of this page, is to warn others of the consequences that arise when dating (well Islam and dating is an oxymoron) men of a different religion. Healthy marriages can and do occur only if the couple are on the same wavelength. Anything else usually ends in tears, and that's why we're here.
