Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men

Submitted by Shömi (Poland), Jan 22, 2020 at 20:17

Dear Forum Friends.

Stop. Some of you have been here long enough to know what I know. STATS.

It's atypical to see new posters popping up every couple of days. The site doesn't have enough traffic to score dozens of "likes" overnight nor over years even. A voice from the "other side" is extremely rare.

Jordana used to be somewhat of a regular Muslim poster here (welcome back :)) Although raised on American soil, she's been definitely more familiar with the ME custom and upbringing. I remember her not always being in agreement with the rest of us, but equally disgusted with the ME gigolos. Jordana, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

I have spent a total of six months in NA. ALL my female Muslim friends had high hopes for their suitors. They expected them to be honest, hard working, loyal to the family and true to their faith. They do believe it's up to Allah to judge sinners, therefore in context of scam they may be found complicit by not voicing criticism nor warnings. It is, however, a far cry from approval. Often they can't hide shame and disgust on their faces. They are women like us. Some more rebellious than the others. Their lives, their needs, their looks, their dreams vary. Just like ours.

I'm leading up to the fact that the views expressed by the recent "Muslim" posters are highly provocative and unusual, both in form and essence. Dirty language replaced typical Arabic sayings. Pakistan is suddenly "only 5,500 km away" from Indonesia. Not 3 hrs away by airplane by any chance... Can you spot a lie?

So we got one person here who did better than all of us. She did not accept a proposal from a married man... O_o
Then a dozen Muslim women came in her defense, lol. They continuously post minutes apart from each other. Check the time stamps...

Can we now please agree to ignore the troll for good? You too Jessica my friend ;)

Thanks and cheers everyone

I am hoping the temperature will lower and am looking for ideas how to implement this hope.
