Reader comment on item: Advice to Non-Muslim Women against Marrying Muslim Men
in response to reader comment: Married to Kurdish man

Submitted by Tracey (United Kingdom), Jan 14, 2020 at 04:25

I've met and fallen in love with a Kurdish man. His culture is very important to him which I respect. I believe he will/has married a Kurdish woman which he constantly denies and says he wants a future with me. How quick can weddings be arranged? How much on average would he of paid for his bride? Would he have to go and live with her parents for a short time before moving back to his parents?

Would he be allowed to stay at his family home with me and share the same room if he was married?
