in response to reader comment: Trying my hardest for my daughter and twin grandsons

This is a nasty situation. You have to know how they think and those old traditions. Your daughter is property and those children are bound to be raised Muslim. Gotta pray hard on this. Even if your daughter makes the UK her permanent home....he and his family will keep the twins.

There is always hope in every situation, however this one is going to be tough.

You are right that she probably is not telling you everything. She is going to have to get her and her babies out of there. Hopefully she wants to do this. These guys do manipulate and tear down a woman's strength though and she needs to quickly and quietly leave. Hopefully he has not taken her passport.

Is there an embassy there? Find out if you can. Embassies can help, however once she is married and in his country ...it is harder. Maybe you could place a call to them but do not tell them who you are and don't tell your daughter. Just tell them the situation and try to get a name of someone who can help her. You can give her the person's name in a private phone call.

I don't think that you can do much more than that right now, but at least it will be a start. Keep them in prayer.
