You do realize that most countries allow for cousin marriage? Islam finds it acceptable because it isn't forbidden in the holy book. But people have engaged in this for years. I read the Rockefeller sons all married cousins. In practice, many non-Muslims also practice this to preserve wealth in a family, keep bloodlines "pure," or because families want to control the child's spouse. Disgusting actually but look up the laws regarding this in the US!!! I was shocked that a majority of the states allow this atrocity even to this day. And let's not even talk about England and other European countries.
